One of Korea’s top controversial female singers, IVY, has been slowly, but surely, making her presence known again in the music scene!
After a few teasers and some song previews, she has already released two full MV’s and is making her song “Touch Me” the third. The electro pop fused song is a big contrast to her two previous songs, “Goodbye Tears” & “I Am.”
The MV shows her posing in many diva ways and in two particular sequence shots, we see her back to back with a half naked guy & inside a glass box with three other guys. Pretty crazy right? The song seems to empower her and she certainly does a lot of self-touching on screen.
Although Netizens might be on edge because of her controversial personal life a few years back, others are welcoming her back have been waiting for this fierce femme to take charge of the stage again!

Whwat was she controversial for before the scandalous MV?
And I’m glad you said that she’s empowering herself in the video. In my music class we had a conversation about some stuff that got me real heated. Needless to say, I was upset with some of the views and blah blah blah getting angry again so Imma stop.

There was this whole sex scandal tape issue when she was really popular in the music scene. The thing exploded about 2 years ago that her then boyfriend was threatening to release the tape.
She was also kind of “looked down” on by the Netizens & the media b/c it seems like she was dating a dude and the singer, Wheesung, at the same time.
I hope you didn’t too crazy in the debate. A lot of people like to criticize but they never stop to see the other view =[
