Music Stages Are Getting Hotter & GD Nabs Another Win
With the enormity of idol groups coming back & debuts and also GD’s fire burning debuts & wins, we sometimes forget about the other explosive music stages that are going on. Undoubtedly most of the music has reached another level and there’s so much of it going on, it’s pretty easy to miss.

First and foremost, hats off to GD for his 1st award on Inkigayo and one step closer to the Triple Crown. The “chrome” (that’s for you Rome!) hair-ed leader gratefully accepted the award with an encore of applauds from 2NE1. The girls also got to join him on the victory stage to rock out the Heartbreaker song.

Mighty Mouth’s Love Class has featured everyone from Han Ye Seul, Uee of AfterSchool, Hyun Ah of 4minute and now Kara’s cutie, Nicole. The rap duo struck high last year and now are a solid fixture in Kpop land. The song reminds me a lot of Nassun’s Come To Play only a lot more silliness to it. The count up to ten is also bit awkward too but it’s still one of the songs that you get stuck listening to.

Korean’s fastest rapper, Outsider, has begun to have a band of loyal followers and I do declare, I’m definitely one of them. Currently promoting his track, Youth’s Confession, the song not only gets people to get up and bump to his music, but mesmerizes them with his fast lyrical flow. Truthfully should be nicknam-ed Korea’s own version of Twista, Outsider has risen for his underrated status to join the higher ranks of Korean gasoos.

SM’s own rock Band, Trax or Typhoon of the Rose Attack on Xmas joins the stage with Air for the Swallow the Sun OST song, Fate. The soft rock ballad exemplifies both the singers’ vocals yet still retains their rock images. Trax Leader Typhooon, or aka Jay Kim, has one of the best vocal strengths in the SM crew and my own personal favorite. The OST track has been getting lots of attention since their debut and we hope to see more to come!
